The Jai Alai Trophy features a stunning bronze jai alai player, and is awarded at the end of each game to the so-called "batting champ" - the player with the highest answer average. As such, it represents the best pure player in our game, in much the same way that jai alai players are the best pure athletes in our society. This nice piece of hardware was stolen from some Cuban guys on South Beach.
