Listed below are the stupid rules of the game, in case you can't read big words. Click here if you feel like you can handle big-people rules.

LEAGUE STRUCTURE

The players are divided into the Norris, Smythe, Mervyn, Ritahd and Lepur Divisions.  After every game, the players get juggled around based upon a complex formula that only the Czar has the patience to figure out.  The winner of the post-season tournament used to get a free pass to the Norris Division, but that's no longer the case.

GAME PROGRESSION

Each game consists of 50 rounds.  Every round, each player gets one Phase One question.  Every time they get a Phase One right, they also get a Phase Two the next round (along a the new Phase One).  Whenever someone gets a Phase Two right, they get a Phase Three the following round.  If you get a Phase Three right, you get a point, plus another Phase Three.  None of these questions replace other questions you might receive, so you could potentially get 10 or more questions in a single round.  If players get any questions right in Round 50, there will be Bonus Rounds to handle their extra questions.  These will go on until no correct answer is submitted for a given Bonus Round.  Tie-Break Rounds will also occur, if necessary.  If the top players in either division are tied, these will go on (all players involved) until a single player takes the lead.  Bonus Rounds happen here, too, if needed.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

All of the questions are selected at random.  Answer your questions quickly and without cheating.  The answer on the card is always right, even if it's wrong or out-of-date.  Your answer doesn't need to be letter-for-letter what's on the card, if you have exactly captured the spirit of the answer.  You may be asked for a clarification (rare), and the Czar has final say on all of these matters.

TOURNAMENT

After the 50-round game, a tournament will be played, with all players involved.  Players will be seeded, and face off against players from other divisions.  Each round of the tournament, players will receive six questions.  Whoever gets the most right, wins the head-to-head round and advances.  If there's a tie,  additional questions will be used, in lots of three.
